About me

A compassionate therapist, with a wealth of skills and experience, with over 25 years within mental health services. I currently have a role as a psychotherapist in the NHS providing Cognitive behavioural therapy and Eye movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD and have lots of experience working with individuals on a short term basis. My approach leans toward more compassion focused and Acceptance commitment therapy, and encompasses mindfulness too. I have a special interest in women's health, peri menopause/ menopause and PND in particular. I am registered with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and have worked with people with severe and enduring mental health issues.
I am an open and honest therapist, and enjoy my work immensely feeling rewarded when I see the positive changes for my clients.
