About me

Ms Chachan is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport NHS Trust. She is a general gynaecologist with lead role in colposcopy and hysteroscopy services in the department.
Her initial training was in India and she furthered her specialist training in the UK.
Her postgraduate specialist training was in the deanery of London and KSS.

Ms Chachan has undertaken extensive training in the RCOG curriculum and has completed advanced training modules in Colposcopy, Gynaecological ultrasound, management of early pregnancy, benign open and laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy and diagnosis and management of early gynaecological cancers.

Her special interest lies in managing women with menstrual disorders, pelvic pain and cervical problems like abnormal smears. She runs a one-stop clinic to try and investigate and treat women with the above problems with minimum number of visits.
