About me

Dr Sri Gada is a Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in Child Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Neurodisability.

Dr Sri Gada worked in NHS for over 23 years and nearly 14 years as Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician at Oxford University Hospitals NHSFT from 2005-2019. He continues to work as a Hon Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Oxford since 2007. Dr Sri has worked in NHS as a Consultant Appraiser, Clinical Governance Lead, Educational and Clinical Supervisor for over 10 years.

Previously he has worked at Leicester Royal Infirmary and at Royal London Hospital where he was training to be a Paediatric Intensivist. During his Specialist Training, one of his children was diagnosed with a Disability. This personal experience stimulated his interest in childhood Neurodisability. Subsequently he changed his speciality and went on to receive training in Community Chid Health and Child Neuro-developmental disorders at Royal Free Hospital in London. He undertook Diploma in Paediatric Neurodisability from Sheffield.

Dr Sri takes an active interest in teaching and training of undergraduates and postgraduates. He has conducted child development courses in Oxford, London and Abroad. He is the Editor of Oxford Specialist Handbook in Community Paediatrics, which is the widely used by specialists and trainees in the field both in UK and abroad. He is currently working on the 2nd edition of this book.

Dr Sri specialises in assessment and management of children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders which include: Autism/ASD, ADHD, Dyspraxia/Coordination difficulties, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Speech and Language Delay, Emotional & Behavioural Disorders, children with educational difficulties, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, etc.
