Consultant in Oncological Neurosurgery based at the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford, the Wellington Hospital in London, Genesis Care Oxford and Wellington Hospital in London.

Trained in Neurosurgery in London, at Charing Cross Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust), the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), Queen’s Hospital (Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust) and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

MD thesis in real-time navigation for brain tumour surgery - Imperial College London.

Royal College of Surgeons Fellowship in brain tumour surgery - Southampton University Hospital

Currently one of the two main Oncological Neurosurgeons in Oxford (catchment area of more than 3 million people). More than a 1000 brain tumour operations, amongst the neurosurgeons with the highest number of awake craniotomies/year in the UK.

Member of the faculty of national and international courses that teach neurosurgeons the intrinsic anatomy of the brain parenchyma and real-time navigation technology in brain tumour surgery. Regular contribution to teaching Neuro-Oncology for Oxford Medical Students. Contribution in writing chapters of Neurosurgical textbooks.

Significant contribution to national and international research that looks to improve the current treatments of brain tumours. Research partner in projects that aim to improve intraoperative navigation technology in brain tumour surgery. Research partner in projects that aim to translate brain cortical electrical activity of patients undergoing awake surgery to technology that can be used to help patients with significant neurological disability.
