About me

I now offer online (via Zoom) and in person appointments. I also offer appointments for couple and familytherapy though those are often easier in person.
If you've made the decision to have therapy then having to wait for an appointment can be difficult. Online working will usually give me the ability to offer a first appointment within a working week. I try to offer an in person appointment within a week too.If you aren't sure then call up for a chat about it.

Since Covid19 has struck, many had been wary of having therapy 'virtually'. It's a big change from what we expect therapy to look like. However my clients have found they can have the same confidence in their therapy and I found that adapting to a different style of delivering therapy has been good and enabled me to be more flexible. For many not having to travel to an appointment is easier.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy regarding all mental health issues, stress, depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, bullying, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, child behaviour and parenting, life cycle changes, antenatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, stillbirth and miscarriage, pet bereavement, chronic illness and disability. This is not an exhaustive list,
I have also undergone training on working with different types of PTSD.

I have a great deal of experience working with clients who experience anxiety and depression, and also use simple mindfulness and cognitive behavioural techniques as part of my work. I believe education about managing our mental health is a significant part of any treatment and relapse prevention.

I try to offer flexibility with appointments depending on availability.I prefer not to work weekends.
Parking is also available.
