Medical training:

I qualified from the University of Bristol in 1998 and went on to successfully complete my basic surgical training on the prestigious Hammersmith Hospital Surgical Rotation in 2002 before embarking on a PhD at Imperial College, London.

In 2007, I started my orthopaedic surgery training on the Charing-Cross North-West Thames rotation and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in 2011.

I have completed a 12-month sports surgery (shoulder, hip, knee and foot and ankle) and lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at SportsMed.SA, in Adelaide, Australia. I have also completed a specialist hip arthroscopy and arthroplasty fellowship at the Royal Berkshire Hospital for 12 months and finally a trauma fellowship in Vienna.

I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at North Middlesex University Hospital between 2014-2019. In 2019, I moved to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) to specialise in hip and knee surgery and develop stem-cell and artificial intelligence related research to improve patient care.

I understand the mind-set of the athlete with sporting injury, having run 2 full marathons, and half-marathons. I am also a keen skier and snow boarder. I have also been team doctor for Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club.
