About me

I am a Counselling Psychologist, chartered by the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. I have over 10 years clinical experience working within the NHS with adults, children, adolescents, and couples. I am passionate about improving the lives of people who have been affected by physical illness, trauma, personal injury, life events, depression and anxiety disorders. I have specialist skills and knowledge in working with people with diabetes, sexual health conditions and psycho-sexual problems. I am trained in a number of psychological approaches including CBT, person centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR (Level 1, 2 & 3). I have recently published an article on adjustment to type-1 diabetes in young people.
