I have built up my practice over the past 8 years and have an excellant reputation within the industry. In recent times I have been working remotely, particularly telephone counselling.

I provided 1:1 Counselling over the short to medium term over sites throughout Derbyshire. Another hugely important aspect of my work involves clinical assessments; these clinical assessments are conducted in accordance with the Agency's service level agreement and with the BACP ethical framework of good practice. I have experience of undertaking risk assessments in accordance with the policies and procedures of my organisation and have utilised the support of both internal and external agencies in order to ensure that safe and appropriate decisions are undertaken.

I have gained extensive clinical experience in working with clients on a 1:1 basis as part of my counselling practice. This experience has been gained at an agency whose primary role is to support those individuals and their families who have experienced domestic abuse. Whilst domestic abuse is the presenting issue of the clients accessing services, there is a very varied remit of physical, emotional and mental health issues which lie at the implicit level and consequence play a large part of my practice. In addition to individual client hours I undertook clinical assessments; allocation of clients to trainee counsellors and was a member of the executive committee of the charity, overseeing management.
