About me
I have a strong clinical background and training in Urogynaecology. I have obtained my CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in April 2010. I have completed the requirement for the subspecialty training programme in Urogynaecology at the University College London Hospital in 2013. This post has provided me with the experience of advanced laparoscopic surgery and its application in Urogyanecology. I was successful in obtaining a locum consultant Urogynaecologist post at St Georges in January 2013. During this post, I have successfully and safely introduced laparoscopic Urogynaecology at St Georges.
Furthermore, prior to the subspecialty training programme, I have completed the requirement for the Urogynaecology ATSM, Benign vaginal surgery ATSM and advanced labour ward practice. I have also completed a one-year Fellowship in Urogynaecology at St George’s Hospital during which have consolidated my diagnostic and surgical skills at tertiary level.
My short-term fellowship in Australia in 2011 with Professor Has Peter Dietz has complemented my general training in Urogyanecology and introduced me to the application of imaging in Urogyanecology. I have acquired the experience to perform 3/4D ultrasound for the pelvic floor. Furthermore, I have completed a research project, which was published at the American journal for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I have been in a substantive consultant post as a subspecialist Urogynaecologist and Obstetrician at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals since August 2014.
