About me

Dr Justin Yeoh graduated from King’s College London Medical School in 2005. He initially specialised in General Practice and qualified in this field in 2010. He completed a Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health MSc degree at University College London in 2012. He subsequently undertook further specialist training becoming a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2015. He has expertise in managing injuries of elite and recreational athletes as well as a variety of non-sport related musculoskeletal problems.

Justin has worked extensively in football medicine with a decade of experience. He is currently the Team Doctor for Fulham FC 1st Team and Academy. He was also the Team Doctor for West Ham United 1st Team and sports physician for Chelsea FC Academy and Ladies Team. He has also provided medical cover for other clubs including Tottenham Hotspur FC Academy and the England Women’s Development Team. He started his football medicine career at Reading FC in 2008 having initially been the medical officer for the 1st Team and Academy squads then progressing to Club Doctor.

Justin provided a community NHS musculoskeletal service for Wokingham/Berkshire West CCG. Musculoskeletal ultrasound including diagnosis and interventional procedures, which is his specialist interest, is offered within this service.

Justin was a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the national Defence Military Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court for several years until closure in mid 2018. Here he managed extremely complex injuries of armed forces personnel.

Justin has been a Sports Medicine Doctor treating elite athletes in a variety of other disciplines. During the London 2012 Olympic Games he was part of the medical team at the Aquatics Centre for the Swimming and Diving events. He worked at the English Institute of Sport elite athlete clinic in London. He also worked for GB Hockey and Athletics, the University of East London High Performance Athletic Squad as well as at International Triathlon Championships.

Justin has been involved within Disability Sport. At the Paralympic Games in London 2012 he worked at the Athletes’ Village Medical Centre and track-side at the main stadium. He also provided medical support to the GB Wheelchair Tennis team.

Having enjoyed playing football and tennis himself for several years Justin now likes to keep active through regular swimming.
