About me

I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy in Holloway, North London. Whether you are thinking of coming to therapy at a time of crisis, or at a time to understand more fully what is happening in your life, talking with a therapist can be very helpful. I will provide a safe and confidential space and support you to explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that may affect the way you think about and relate to yourself and others.

In our first session we will discuss and consider your concerns and any thoughts and feelings you have about therapy. We will discuss how we can work together, and what you would like to get out of meetings.

I have over thirty year's experience of working with children, young people, adults, couples and families in both the statutory and charitable organisations. I currently offer private counselling/psychotherapy and also provide supervision to Social Care workers, therapists, and therapy trainees. I have worked with women, men, and children/young people, of all ages, ethnicity, backgrounds, and sexuality, who bring a range of issues, questions and concerns.

I have a Masters Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I have a further post graduate diploma in Systemic Practice; and a Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I am also a qualified Social Worker. I receive continuous professional support and development to ensure good practice.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their guidelines on confidentiality, code of ethics, and good practice. I hold a current enhanced Disclosure Certificate, and full professional insurance.
