About me

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and counsellor. I qualified with a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I studied CBT with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre. I have attended and completed Continuous Professional Development (CPD) throughout my professional career. I am currently undertaking a PhD on autism in psychotherapy.

I began working with clients in 1999 and established my private practice in 2001. I worked for the NHS Berkshire Eating Disorders Service (2005-2018) initially as a sessional clinician and later as a principal and senior clinician within the team.

Since 2001, I have worked with adults (18+ years) and young people (16-25 years) individually and in groups both in the NHS and in my private clinics. I have been a Network Practitioner for the National Centre for Eating Disorders since 2001. I have facilitated clinical training groups, workshops and GP training.
