About me

Dr Andrew Wigham is an Interventional Radiology Consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
He specialises in the treatment and imaging of all forms of venous disease, including DVT, chronic venous obstruction, pelvic congestion and superficial venous insufficiency. He regularly speaks at both national and international conferences on this subject. He established the Oxford deep venous service upon starting in Oxford in 2013 and this is now one of the largest units in Europe, regularly receiving physicians from across Europe to learn advanced techniques for the treatment of venous disorders. His other areas of expertise include vascular access, arterial and hepatobiliary intervention. He is the endovascular access lead Oxford and has a special interest in portacath insertion.
