About me

Mr Patel grew up in Derby and was subsequently educated locally. He trained at Sheffield Medical School and completed his higher surgical training in Ophthalmology in Nottingham and Derby. He underwent advanced training in Medical Retina and Uveitis in Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham.

He specialises in Cataract Surgery, Medical Retinal Diseases (including Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Eye Disease, Retinal Vein Occlusions), Uveitis (Ocular Inflammation) and Acute Eye Conditions.
