About me

Mr Luke Clifford trained in ophthalmology in the Wessex region before undertaking sub specialist fellowships in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at University Hospital Southampton and Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.

He has extensive experience in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery. He is a full time consultant ophthalmologist and clinical lead for paediatric ophthalmology at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust working across the Basingstoke and Winchester sites.

He is an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists as well as College Tutor and Regional Educational Advisor.
