About me

I have dedicated my training to achieve a high standard in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

I was born and raised in central London and went on to attend firstly Queen Mary College (London University) to obtain a First class BSc (Hons) degree in Genetics. I then went on to complete my medical training at the Medical school of St Thomas’s and also Guys hospital and completed my Medical Degree from the University of London in 1994. I completed all my general medical and advanced plastic surgery training but took an extra year to complete a Masters degree at University College, London on the science of surgery. In 2007 I passed the plastic surgery specialist examination to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England FRCS(plast). I am listed on the GMC Specialist Register as a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon.

My advanced training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery was completed in units throughout the UK covering all aspects of the specialty. I concentrated my specialist training with a fellowship in microsurgery, breast reconstruction and head and neck reconstruction surgery at The Toronto General and Mount Sinai Hospitals in Toronto, Canada.

The plastic Plastic Surgery unit is at St Bartholomews and the Royal London Hospitals where I hold my NHS post and routinely treat patients. I have a special interest in all aspects of breast surgery and is comprehensively trained in all aspects of Plastic and Cosmetic surgery. In my NHS position, I am actively involved in the multidisciplinary management of reconstruction of the breast following cancer removal as well with general plastic surgery and reconstructive procedures. I perform the wide variety of cosmetic procedures such as breast enlargement or reduction, breast symmetry, lipofilling procedures, tummy-tuck, liposuction, body sculpting and corrective surgery after massive weight loss.
