About me
Over the last 15 years Dev Shah has developed a strong clinical background in dermatology and in particular dermatological surgery and lasers.
Dr Shah manages tertiary dermatology referrals for skin cancer, whilst maintaining his core medical dermatology knowledge.
He is currently working with Cardiff University Microneedle Team to develop the role of microneedles for skin disease. He will be involved in preliminary proof of concept studies in the near future. He aims to continue his collaboration with the micro needle team in order to progress this work towards a clinical trial.
Dr Shah also hopes to become involved and guide the direction of skin surgery, especially skin cancer services, both at a local and national level (British Association of Dermatological Surgeons), for the benefit of patients.
He is not chair of the Skin Cancer MDT meetings both privately and NHS.
