About me

Mr Talaat joined University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust in 2012 as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Accredited Sub-specialist in Gynaecological Oncology and Colposcopy. He successfully obtained his dual CCT GMC accreditation in 2011 following a structured training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1996 in London, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Southampton hospitals.

Mr Talaat has successfully completed his accredited fellowship training in Gynaecological Oncology in 2011. He has been an accredited Colposcopy specialist and trainer since 2003 with national and international peer-review publications. He has been actively involved not only in the surgical management of women with gynaecological cancer but also in early detection of ovarian, uterine (womb), cervical, vulval and vaginal cancer.
