About me

Mr Simon Ghalayini specialises in surgery of the Hip and Knee, including hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery and arthroscopy of the knee.

Mr Ghalayini is available for private consultations at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle.

He has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2011. He qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1999 and completed specialist training in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in the North West. This included sub-speciality training in hip and knee surgery. His NHS practice is based at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport.

He is a Member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, a Member of the British Hip Society, a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
