About me

Originally trained as a systemic/ family psychotherapist I’ve worked for the NHS in mental health services for 20 years. I enjoy working with adult individuals and teenagers and helping family communication and closeness.I’ve done additional training in attachment based family therapy.

I also specialise with couples. I have trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy which I integrate with Esther Perel’s approach and research from th Gottmans

I have consulted to Annalisa Barbieri on her column responding to readers with relationship problems.

The people I work with describe me as easy to talk to, human, calm and with a sense of humour.
