About me

Mr Lee's work as a spinal surgeon in Stanmore routinely involves all areas of the spine and in particular highly complex cases that have been referred from centres around the UK.

This includes degenerative cases, deformity (spondylolisthesis and adult scoliosis), revision cases, sacroiliac joint fusion, infection, tumour (primary and metastatic) and trauma work. He specialises in anterior and posterior minimally invasive fusions and decompressions with the emphasis on preservation of the paraspinal musculature and fast rehabilitation.

Mr Lee was fellowship trained in Vancouver, Canada where he developed his expertise in computer navigated spine surgery (O-arm and stealth navigation) and has performed over a thousand cases using this novel technology.

Mr Lee is regularly asked to speak at international and national conferences and is a faculty member on many minimally invasive courses. He has published extensively and his current research interests are the outcomes after minimally invasive surgery, adult deformity correction and computer navigated spinal surgery.

Mr Lee is currently the national lead of the British Spine Registry and is a fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society

Mr Lee was also winner of the RNOH 2019 Staff Achievement Award for Achieving Excellence
