About me

Dr Paul Rees trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, and after a thorough grounding in acute medicine and critical care he was selected for higher professional training in adult cardiology. He is accredited as a consultant in both cardiology and internal medicine, with subspecialty training in interventional cardiology, treating heart disease using minimally-invasive stent procedures.

He worked for two years as Research Fellow at the world-leading Hatter Cardiovascular Institute and Centre for Cardiology in London, investigating how to save the heart from damage during a heart attack. He published his doctoral thesis following his fellowship.

During his interventional cardiology fellowships he became skilled in the use of cutting-edge technology which allows the cardiologist to individually craft the right solution for each patient.
