About me

I am a senior consultant working in the NHS as a consultant Gynaecologist for last 18 years before moving to private practice.
I am the current Divisional Director for the Maternity, Gynaecology and Breast Division at north West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. I am the MDT Lead Consultant for Gynaecological Cancers at the Trust and have been the Lead Colposcopist for 14 years before giving this role up in the beginning of the year 2026.
I provide clinical expertise over a wide area as highlight before. I am an experience Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeon having done hundreds of these procedures with good clinical outcome and receiving great patient feedback. I am currently undertaking training in Robotic Surgery.
I have trained many doctors in laparoscopic surgery in their journey to become consultant. I teach resident doctors and medical students.
I am engaged in regular audits of my clinical work.
I have presented at National and international conferences and been a Principal investigator in Research Trials. I am currently involved in 2 research projects - STEMOVA and ROCKETS gen

Areas of interest

Menstrual problems such as heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, bleeding after sex, painful periods; ovarian and tubal pathology such as ovarian cysts or soldi masses, medical and surgical treatment of fibroids endometriosis; adenomyosis; pelvic pain; colposcopy and abnormal cervical screening; vulval disorders such as lichen sclerosus and VIN; contraception and sexual health - Coil insertion and removal; postmenopausal bleeding; outpatient procedures such as endometrial ablation, resection of fibroids, removal of cervical and endometrial polyps; laparoscopic procedures such as removal of ovarian cysts, hysterectomy, excision of endometriosis.
