About me

Dr Jonathan Lambert BMBS BMedSci PhD FRCP FRCPath is a Consultant Haemato-oncologist at University College London Hospitals and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL Cancer Institute.

He undertook his post-graduate medical training in Sydney, Birmingham and London, and his specialist training in haematology at University College Hospital. He completed a PhD in molecular haematology at the UCL Cancer Institute, resulting in numerous papers published in leading peer-reviewed journals.

He has specialist expertise in caring for patients with lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including autologous stem cell transplantation) and myeloproliferative disorders (MPNs, such as essential thrombocythaemia, polycythaemia vera and myelofibrosis) - particularly complex or challenging cases.

Dr Lambert is the clinical lead for the UCLH MPN unit and a member of the UK NCRI MPN subgroup. He is a core member of the UCLH MPN and lymphoma multi-disciplinary teams and is heavily involved in research and clinical trials, both at UCLH and nationally. He has also co-authored numerous national expert guidelines on MPN and lymphoma.
