About us

Davenport House is an award winning Chiropody, Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy Clinic based at the foothill of the Pennines in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester. The clinic has received accreditation for its excellent standards four years in a row.

The owners of Davenport House Clinic, husband and wife team Becky and Tony Gavin, are passionate about what they do. We are a family run business and our aim is for you to feel comfortable at all times and be delighted with the treatment you receive. From your initial contact with the clinic until the moment you leave following your visit, we hope that every single patient feels welcome and at ease throughout. Becky, Tony and their team understand that it may be a little daunting when booking an appointment if you haven’t attended before and as such, lend themselves to offering the very highest standard of patient care and confidentiality. All of our staff are fully aware that our clinic is about you. Our services will always be tailored to meet your needs, and we will always try to see you at a time that suits you.

All Practitioners at Davenport House Clinic are qualified to the highest level and are registered with the Health Professions Council and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their field of work.

Our Chiropodists and Podiatrists are experts in general foot care but also specialise in Nail Surgery, Diabetic Foot Care and Biomechanics. We have an on-site gait laboratory ProGait offering complete gait analysis and pressure plate studies. Using state of the art motion analysis software, orthopaedic treadmill and pressure plate systems we can build an accurate picture of your biomechanics to investigate sports injuries and conditions affecting your gait. Custom made orthotics can also be manufactured here on site whilst you wait. Whether it’s a corn, a verrucae or something a little more complex, we can help and advise the correct treatment for you.

Here at the clinic we have four highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapists offering treatment for many common conditions. Physiotherapy involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities including massage, exercise prescription, acupuncture and electrotherapy to name but a few. Our Physiotherapists are specialists in rehabilitation of sports injuries, all muscular and joint problems and chronic conditions. From Back Pain to Tennis Elbow and Frozen Shoulder to a Sporting Injury our Physiotherapists are here to minimise your pain and discomfort.
