About me
I graduated from Manchester University in 1999 and spent the next 5 years gaining experience in a wide variety of surgical specialties in the greater Manchester region. In 2005 I made the move across to Yorkshire and spent the next 6 years as a Specialist Registrar in Orthopaedics honing my skills as a surgeon in many of the local hospitals in Yorkshire.
I then undertook a specialist knee surgery fellowship in Sheffield in 2010 working alongside 2 of the UK’s most renowned knee surgeons. During this time I spent one year learning in depth surgical techniques for all aspects of knee surgery. In 2010, I was appointed as a consultant with a special interest in knee surgery at Mid Yorkshire NHS trust.
I specialise in Knee surgery and sports injuries to the knee.
I am now one of three surgeons working in the Yorkshire Knee clinic, which is a specialist service dedicated to treating knee problems.
I am an instructor for the 'Advanced Trauma Life support' course for doctors in training.
I am married and have 2 children
