About me
I have 25 years experience as a clinical consultant cardiologist and also have a doctorate in biomedical engineering. I introduced RF catheter ablation in the UK and have been active in developing invasive and pacemaker / ICD techniques.
Over the last 10 years I have become increasingly interested in cardiovascular illnes as a functional problem of the whole person and have developed a non-drug approach to the treatment for breathlessness.
Areas of interest
Pacemaker and ICD programming and optimisation; investigation and medical treatment of arrhythmias; medical treatment of angina, valve disease and heart failure; identification and treatment of reflex dyspnoea, complex clinical conditions and holistic cardiology.
