About me

Dr Anne Ward is a Leading Consultant Dermatologist with over 30 years' experience, backed by specialist training. She qualified from Queen's University of Belfast in 1987, coming first in her year. Her dermatology training took place in Belfast, Birmingham and Bristol before taking up her post as Consultant Dermatologist at Cannock Chase Hospital, Staffordshire. Dr Ward retired from the NHS in 2016, and has worked solely in private practice since, allowing her to spend more time with patients. She has her own clinic in Lichfield - Stafford Skincare - which is predominantly for cosmetic procedures, facial rashes such as acne, and skin surgery for the removal of benign skin lesions. She also works at a local private hospital - Rowley Hospital, Stafford. On a National Level, Dr Anne Ward has worked with The British Association of Dermatologists to update the UK Guidelines for Photodynamic Therapy (2018) and she was a Member of The British Association of Dermatologists' Clinical Services Committee.
